1971 Honda CB 750

1971 Honda CB750 (built 9/70) for sale. Not a barn find, ut not perfect. I have owned this motorcycle since 1979. 2 mechanics owned it before me. First owner had minor incident creating dent in gas tank. This is when he modified engine and other items mentioned. I have another mc I have been riding for past 8 years, o am parting with this one. It has been sitting for past 9 years. Before sitting, he only issue was a carburetor needle sticking. Carbs were removed and cleaned thoroughly with the help of an SAE mechanic friend. Bike has been started – carbs need to be tuned, ut it works. As does starter, nd all electrical. This bike will be perfect for 3 possibilities: 1 – ride as is (with minor work left); 2- full restore project; 3 – café racer project. Modifications from original include engine – bored (but not sure if 820 or 836), igh speed cam, xhaust, nd handlebars. This is a very fast bike – not a stock engine by any means (though this will only help resale for a full restore); seat, aint, ront disk. What needs work: rust on rear wheel, park plug wires need replacing, ront brake (I have original, nd purchased another used brake – but either will need to be rebuilt - both go with bike), eat will need replacing/reconditioning (button hole came off, ater seeped in & created rust on seat frame). I have not done some of modifications, s whomever purchases may choose to go in other direction (café or restore). Tired of cleaning and moving it. Want it gone. But, also know this will be an exceptional bike when completed to purchaser’s wishes. Clean NH title. Sold as-is. For sale locally. Reserve the right to pull from auction at any time.
