Perfect Restoration Project

I purchased this bike two years ago with the intention of restoration. This was truly a "barn find" Honda CR250R. It has had 2 owners, till has the original tires, erfectly straight wheels, nd also includes a binder of history that adds to the value of the bike.

Since the CR did need a new clutch/water pump cover, was able to obtain a perfect (mint) 1981 aluminum cover which was difficult to find. (The 1982 CR 250R came with a magnesium cover which was prone to failure).

The CR had piston failure the last time it was ridden 20-25 years ago. Although I have not removed the cylinder for inspection, would assume that the cylinder would be a good candidate for refinishing as well. The only other item the bike would need is the installation of the aluminum clutch/water pump cover which is included.
The CR is fully clean, etailed, nd ready for immediate delivery. Original shop manual, SO from Honda, nd a binder full of articles/tips/info from the era of moto racing is included.
