NEVER DROPPED IN THE GARAGE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! NO EXCUSES! only normal wear and chips from regular use of 11K miles. couple minor scratches on the mirrors and fins (replaceable!) but NOTHING worth mentioning!100% Southern California Bike! Garaged and maintained ! NEEDS NOTHING!!!!ABS version ! ( st1300A) tires: like new (see pics) battery : sept 2013 (Yuasa original battery from dealer. $200+ with install and warranty) oil change. final drive oil change (both 100% synthetic - way before they were due for replacement) : feb 2014 ! CA registration good till : MAY 2015 original exhaust : included (like new) Owners manual available online if needed - I can email. Garage kept 2 keys for the bike included in the sale. Email for questions. specific pictures etc. make sure to write something proving you are a human and a serious buyer so I don't send it to spam. NO test rides without cash and M endorsement. Bike has absolutely ZERO issues. needs nothing. Next ( and first ever) valve adjustment service is at 16K miles. (you do NOT even need to change oil until then!!!) Clean title . no liens. no waiting for the title. Under my name! (no shady stuff here) Bike is never down and I would rate the exterior condition as 9/10 ( couple superficial scratches from parking in tight spots. and around the key hole due to having the rear bag key attached to the key ring and 2 little rock chips and a little road rash that are minimal. almost impossible to see unless you sit on the ground and bend over to look for them and expected/normal for 10K miles)). Mechanically bike is : 10/10 Electronics are never messed up with! Everything original. and bike is 100% stock except the rear bag (that can house 2 full size helmets). the Delkevic pipes (as stated above. Original exhaust is included with the sale) This bike is comparable and better than a Yamaha FJR and Kawasaki ZX14 (ZX-14). I believe there are not any changes from 2006 2007 to 2009 2010 2011 2012 model years. A brand new left over stock 2012 is around $ 15K ( including set up and delivery) + tax . so $my asking price is more than fair for only 10K miles with complete maintenance done. and you can compare it to BMW RT . NOT as smooth as my ST. more expensive and needs more maintenance $$$ Regarding the comparison to FJR and ZX14. go test drive all 3 bikes with comparable mileage at any dealer (since they have the insurance to cover test rides). and you'll see why ST1300A is the way to go :) I did before my purchase ! Since someone asked from my ad on cycletrader : the rear bag is a very good Astra and has also the remote lock/unlock feature. but I never used it. the remote is included. manual for it is available as well online and their customer service is very good if you have a question. Electricals are already connected. 1 thing worth mentioning: the left rear saddle bag was lost in storage (I ride without the side bags most of the time as the rear bag is enough for me). it is a brand new one purchased from a CA seller and has a different key than the main key. There are 2 keys for that bag. Again. bike is NEVER down! Past 4000 miles. 95% of the mileage is riding highways from OC to SD and LA. barely ridden other than to these 2 locations. And. no it does NOT have the heated grips option. which can be installed for pretty reasonable price at the dealer. I am a mature rider with 25 years on street bikes and have had numerous sport bikes as well as V-Rods etc. ST1300 is one hell of a sport tourer that has the acceleration of a liter sport bike. with the ease of use of a tourer. V4 set up is smooth and problem free. and for the people who are concerned about mpgs. (I cant understand why you should be unless you commute. but then a 250cc should be enough) from OC to SD. averaging over the speed limit but keeping up with traffic. I get around 40-42mpgs. Which is better than my last CBR1000RR. that used to get 36mpg at best. and my RC51 SP2 which used to get 33mpg.
