HONDA 1970 KO SL 175OFF FRAME RESTORATIONSELLING OFF ONE OF MY COLLECTIONI'VE HAD THIS BIKE FOR 30 YEARS AND IT'S ALWAYS BEEN STORED IN DOORS. I DECIDED TO STRIP IT DOWN TO THE FRAME AND I WENT THROUGH THE ENTIRE MOTOR. nbsp;INSTALLED NEW PISTON RINGS. NEW VALVE SEALS ( THE UPDATED VERSION NOT THE OLD ONES). ALL NEW GASKETS. REPLACED ALL THE OIL SEALS. NEW POINTS AND PLUGS. I ALSO INSTALLED NEW MIRRORS. NEW AIR FILTERS. NEW FORK SEALS AND DUST BOOTS. I PAINTED IT THE ORIGINAL HONDA CANDY TOPAZ ORANGE. IT HAS THE ORIGINAL FRONT TIRE. WHICH IS STILL IN GOOD CONDITION AND I INSTALLED A REAR KNOBBIE TIRE FOR BETTER TRACTION. ALL ALUMINUM HAS BEEN HIGHLY POLISHED AND EVERY NUT. BOLT AND WASHER HAS BEEN POLISHED. I ADDED REAR FOOT PEGS FOR PASSENGER. I CHANGED OUT ALL THE PHILUP SCREWS (WHICH YOU KNOW HAVE A TENDENCY TO STRIP OUT) AND REPLACED THEM WITH STAINLESS STEEL POLISHED ALLEN HEX SCREWS. I REPLACED THE THROTTLE CABLE. THE SPEEDOMETER CABLE. NEW TACK SEAL AND PUT NEW PETCOCK WASHERS AND SEAL. THE GAS TANK HAS BEEN CREAM COATED AND I INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY. THE OIL HAS BEEN CHANGED TWICE SINCE THE REBUILD WITH FULL SYNTHETIC OIL. IT COMES WITH A NEW TOOL KIT AND OWNERS MANUAL. SOME CUSTOME WORK HAS BEEN DONE AS YOU CAN SEE. CUSTOME SEAT HAS BEEN DONE WITH LIMOUSINE VINYL WITH ADDIDIONAL PADDING. THE EXHUAST LOOKS RELLY GOODTHE CHROME IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPEEVERYTHING WORKS VERY GOODALL OF THE LIGHTS WORKSHIFTS THROUGH ALL OF THE GEARS SMOOTHLY. IT ONLY HAS 5 MILES ON IT SINCE THE REBUILD. SO IT'S STILL IN THE BREAKIN STAGE. IT STARTS ON FRIST OR SECOND KICKRUNS REALLY STRONG AND SEEMS TO HAVE A LOT OF PULL ON THE TOP END. AS YOU MAY KNOW. THESE BIKES ARE HIGHLY COLLECTABLE. MORE SO. THEN THE CL's or CB's. THEY JUST KEEP GOING UP IN VALUE. THE DESIGN OF THIS BIKE IS FABULOUS. IT JUST DRAWS YOU IN AND YOU FIND YOURSELF JUST STAIRING AT IT AND REMEMBERING THE GOOD OL DAYS. GOOD LUCK BIDDING
