Honda Elsinore MR250 1976 Amazing vintage MX with current CA reg.

This is a great bike for blasting around town and trails. Honda only made this bike for one year - 1976 - the street legal version of the Honda Elsinore. It is essentially the same bike as the CR250. with a few minor tweaks so you can ride on the street. This bike is far from perfect shape but it runs like a champ. Engine is very strong. Freshly rebuilt carb. Brand new adjustable gas shocks in rear. No ignition key- just a hidden kill switch. I have gone through and fixed about 80% of what is here - enough to have a blast riding it. Probably could use a fork rebuild soon. Wheels are totally functional but pretty trashed. New Renthal bars. New brake and clutch levers. Speedo is off a 70's cb350 but mileage is complete unknown. Some of the plastics are wrapped in silver (easier and lasts better than paint). This bike is not a show bike. Not super original. It's got a walnut sized dent in the tank. If you want to make it really pretty. it's all there. If you want to just ride it. it starts easy and runs strong. It'll make you feel like a kid again. Clear title. Current California tags and registration good until August 2015.
