1978 Husqvarna OR390 Strong Runner, W/Registration. NO RESERVE!

For your consideration; a 1978 Husqvarna OR390. This bike came to us with a Preston Petty headlight and PP Integral Taillight rear fender. The front fender was broken. as were the side panels. On the plus side. it started right up and runs strong with no odd noises and shifts as it should. We replaced all of the plastic with a complete DC Plastics kit. opting to install the original style front number plate and MX rear fender. as it would've had when new. All of the old plastic will go with the bike. The harness for the lights has been coiled up under the seat and tank. The tank has no major dents. however the paint is peeling. The tank has some very light rust inside. and we flushed it out. A fuel filter has been installed. The seat is perfect. with no rips or tears. All of the controls are original. and the original cables have the lube ports on them. The Husky Products speedo works. including the reset knob. The expansion chamber has NO dents. The muffler has some scraping on it that does not affect performance. The wheels are straight and true. with no dents. The air filter has been serviced. There is a large wraparound skid plate installed. The carb has been cleaned. This bike starts easily and once warmed up. runs crisp and responds well. I lofted the front wheel in 3rd gear with throttle alone. This bike would make a good basis for a complete restoration or an awesome Post Vintage Racer. Please look at the photos.
