This is a 1982 Husqvarna 420AXC that is in near new condition. The original owner bought the bike from Lake Cycle in Grand Haven Michigan in the fall of 1982. rode it in the summer of 1983 up north on the state land and parked it shortly there after. He took it back to the same bike shop just a little over a year ago for a consignment sale which is where I bought it this winter. As you can see he had a Husqvarna speedo/odometer installed which now reads just 78 miles. He installed a headlight (which is not wired up) and from the 4 holes in the rear fender I believe he attached a license place just to look legal when he was riding it up the side roads going from tract to tract. The original side panels are gone but I did buy good ones from Husqvarna-parts and they will go with the bike. The bike hasn't been ridden in years so the guys at the bike shop poured a little gas in the cylinder and started it for me so that I could be sure it ran. I've not made the time to clean out the carb and get the bike running yet. I have no doubt its a runner. The pictures speak for themselves. The rear Barrum still has the Husqvarna "H" on the knobbies! There is no dry rot either. The Automatics came with Koni's not Ohlins on the rear so that is correct for this bikes. The only bad things about this bike are the two dents in the tank and the front rim has some rust and corrosion in one section only which makes me think that maybe it was sitting in the corner of the basement where moisture took its toll in that one spot?I have the Manufactures Statement of Origin and a copy of the original invoice from Husqvarna to Lake Cycle. This should make things much easier for shipping overseas if need be. There is not title with this bike. Bill of sale will be provided. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.
