This Chief 'Vintage' represents the best of the best Indians offered in Model Year 2010. The original & current owner of this fine machine was the principal Chassis Design Engineer who helped design several component parts and sub-systems on this beautiful bike. Obviously this machine has been ridden sparingly since purchased new with a state safety inspection recently completed in August. You will be corresponding directly with the owner on this transaction and receive a clean NC title.
The pictures truly speak for themselves as this rare Chief is original and includes a few factory 'goodies' not available to the general public. The fuel tank was autographed by Mr. John Penton; if for some reason you object it can be easily removed. This is your once in a lifetime opportunity to own/ride a rare museum quality Motorcycle...!
This pristine Black & Tan Chief 'Vintage' is configured with factory Black 60-spoke wire wheels - made in the U.S.A. and 1 of 1 for 2010, stage II high-performance kit (1 of 1) and the highest quality distressed tan leather you will ever find on an OEM motorcycle, eriod! This Chief retailed for $35,499 and has since been enhanced with much more $$ in genuine factory accessories to include floorboard & handlebar fringe, uggage rack, ishtail exhaust tip, ront & rear mud flaps, ighway bar leather wrap, ank bib, ool pouch, orn cover, hift linkage, ead & fog light visors and the amber fog lights.
All original spares (i.e., ake-off's) are included plus the factory pillion pad, indshield, igh-quality Indian branded bike cover, wner's kit and associated documentation. The (1 of 1) factory mapped stage II ECU, uffler (no baffling) and K&N air filter are currently installed and of course, he original ECU, uffler & air filter are included. Note; this stage II kit was developed and fully tested by the factory R&D team however due to the pending Polaris acquisition, as never released to the market. Technically speaking, his stage II system "does not exist"...
