This bike draws a big crowd wherever I go with it. If you're looking for a 100 point bike this isn't it but it is a complete 47 Chief in pretty nice condition and you would be hard pressed to find a Princess sidecar in this kind of shape. I've putabout 100 miles on it since bringing it back from a long sit. It usually starts first kick when cold. It shifts solid but does have a whine in 2nd gear. The windshield is in great shape for it's age as is the windshield bag and saddle bags.
I picked this up a few years ago. The bike was in a shed in New England for 15 years and the guy never had it running. Before that it wason displaya Gilmore Indian dealer.Icleanedand sealedthe tanks, hanged the oil twice, and put in new plugs, lug wires, oints, ir cleaner, lus a new clutch and pp springs. This is a 12-volt conversion with 48 style sealed beam headlightand a new CycleElectrics generator withbuilt in regulator. Everything on it works except the horn. The bike is titled off the frame as is required in PA. There is no engine number stamped leading to me to believe it was a replacement case back in the day.
Everywhere I go people comment onwhat nice shape the bike is in but on close inspection the paint is fair with the tanks being the weakest. There area few chips in the fins on the heads. It is missing the toolbox but I have a repop that goes with the bike There is an old Kiwi catalog that pictures this bike on the cover included. The sidecar cover has a tear in it but is usable. The sc seat upholstery is in very good shape. Two spokes are missing on the back wheel. I wasn't going to do anything with it until I changed the tire.
This is definitely the coolest old bike I ever had but long work hours and upcoming old age means it's time to clean out the toy shop. It's located not far from the I-80 & I-81 intersection in E PA if you would like to see it in person.Buyer is responsible for any needed shipping and it's being sold as is, here is.I have a clear standard PA title in hand.

I never looked at it just filed it after the guy I got the bike from gave it to me telling me it was this bike. You're welcome to the catalog but after checking the bike on the Kiwi cover is NOT this bike. Also, have a LH shifter that goes with in case you wish to change it.
