CT on August 26. 1990. --A copy of the September 1990 Motorcyclists Post article is included is shown in an attached photo--xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx A Matching Numbers bike. nbsp;the tanks were repainted at one time but the tank decals (included) were never applied!Told that the front/rear fenders were not painted at that time. the Roadmaster appears as original down to the wiring harness and Linkert M350 Carburetor! The only noticeable spot for paint scuffing is on the left side of the front fork tube below the chrome tube that could be touched up easily. Kept in dry storage during my ownership. the Chief was started on Labor Day 2014 and driven less than 3 miles. The current look of this Chief appears near identical to that in 1987 or 1990.
