1999 Kawasaki Nomad Vulcan 1500 70. 71 miles. Clear Tennessee Title Cosmetically a nice bike This bike was ridden regularly up until last week. Bike does have an issue with 3 rd. gear. When shifted into 3 rd it will pull but there is a ratcheting sound no bad sounds in other gears. I can't recommend it yet if you shift past 3 rd. the bike is rideable if you want to take the risk. I rode it twice today. The engine itself runs great and has no smoke or rattles. It has also had the Kawasaki retrofit to metal oil pump drive gear instead of the original nylon gear. It is a one owner bike. Jerry bought this bike from me 15 yrs. ago when I managed the local Kawasaki shop. Over the years I've seen this bike and Jerry has taken care of it. All services have been done by a Kawasaki trained mechanic. As far as I know it's never been down. I've got other projects and don't have the room to repair this one. It's too nice to be taken apart for salvage. It does have the right accessories Hyper Charger . ance and Hines duals w/baffles. em passenger backrest and rack. Markland rider backrest. oem saddlebag guards . front and rear crashguards w/ rider pegs. rear floorboards. em lightbar. chrome windshield lowers. chrome side covers. chrome frame neck covers. good windshield. NO tears in the seat. irelli's w/80% useable wear. I'm sure there is probably other items that I haven't listed. If you need specific pictures or other info please contact me.
