1982 GPZ550. starts and runs very nicely. It has recently had a carb clean. new spark plugs. oil and filter change. new battery. fork oil change and new steering head bearings. It was rear-ended at some point in the past (before I got it) and I have replaced the seat. rear fender. seat lock. tail light and tail cover. The seat frame is tweaked (which does not affect the bike's performance). it has old Cheng Shin tires (which does affect the bike's performance). the front fairing has been extensively repaired and the paint does not match. the tachometer does not track well above 5000 RPM. and the tank is dented and scratched as well as the other bodywork and one muffler. In summation. it is rough cosmetically. but is in very good condition mechanically. If I were to keep it. I would put new high quality tires on it. check the valves. then ride the poop out of it.
