This is a Very nice Rare KZ400A1 the A1 model was equipped with a factory mounted fairing and panniers with integrated rear blinkers and chrome tubing engine protection bars. rear seat rack. Ready to ride. 400cc 4 stroke. 2 cylinder single overhead camshaft 5 speed return shift 36HP @ 8500 rpm. The motor top end has been rebuilt buy a certified mechanic. Back in the mid 70s this bike was the rival to hondas 350 and deemed one of the top 40 bikes to own. It was the perfect commuter bike that could achieve just under 75miles per gallon and run smooth at 75mph. The term "it could do the ton" meaning top speed of 100mph.
