KAWASAKI KLR 2009

This bike is a champ in agility and versatility. It's actually smoother at 70 on a gravel road than on the interstate. The only reason I am selling; plan on commuting more to work this summer by bike. And. it's great on the interstate. but not ideal for longer rides on the interstate. I've never ridden it on deep trails. so it's never seen abusive conditions. though it could easily take it. Just open trails and back roads with an occasional 30 mile interstate road ride. Loaded with whats really needed for a dual-sport with the exception of side bags. I have always enjoyed a simple back pack on the rear fender rack. It has a center stand. side fairing bar guards. nbsp;skid plate that's fitted to the side guard bars. pocket Corbin seat ( that can comfortably double another). extended windshield (the stock windshield directs wind into the chest rather than over your helmet). I also installed inside-fairing led turn indicators and trail led fog lights. switchable by illuminated toggle switch. Oil has always been changed at 750miles. Have an xtra oil filter and trickle charger. Two Brothers slip-on exhaust that takes 15 minutes to install or un-install and a more aggressive rear tire. I've always preferred the OEM Dunlop dual tread tire. New tires installed just before winter. Also a dual-sport helmet with wired speakers and a Garmin GPS ( loaded with Nav.
