1978 Kawasaki kz 650 B2A - 25k miles Custom Cafe Style

The bike runs great and has no mechanical issues. The paint on the bike was done by me so it is not professional, ut it still looks great and gets compliments everywhere it goes. Here is what I have done to the bike since I purchased it in Aug. 2014:

• Custom built café style seat molded from fiberglass
• New Mac 4-into-1 exhaust
• Renewed Head Gasket, nspected pistons and valves
• New electronic KosoSpeedometers/Tachometer
• New ACCEL super coils, ew spark plugs, aps and wires
• Complete teardownand rebuilding of carburetors
• Rejeted carburetors to accommodate exhaust and pod style air cleaners
• New Battery
• New Regulator/Rectifier
• New Clutch and Throttle lines
• New HEL brake line
• Rebuilt brake caliper
• New master cylinder
• New handlebars, and controls and switches
• New Tires, ubes
• New Custom tail light with integrated turn signals
• Relocated ignition to side below seat
• New front brake pads
• New horn
• New headlight

In installing the custom café seat I have taken parts off of the bike necessary for the original seat to go back on. Also there is no center stand on this bike. Theseat andgas tank have professional quality paint appliedby me (not a professional), he body wheels and motor aresprayed with a satin paint. Easy touch up or reapplication.

This bike has not been titled or run for over 2 decades, ut was in surprisingly good shape. The mileage on the original speedometer was 24k and I have put another 1000 miles on it myself. The bike was purchased in California and has remained here.
