The Ninja 650 is not what it seems!

the same liquid-cooled 649cc parallel twin as the ever-popular Kawasaki Versys, he Ninja makes 67 bhp at 8,700 rpm and 45 lbs.-ft. of torque at 7,000 rpm and achieves 45 to 50 mpg. It’s fitted with 41mm right side up forks, hich have been tuned to offer optimal comfort.
Comfort was a major focus in the Ninja’s redesign a few years ago. The handlebars and seat are rubber-mounted, s are the footpegs, o provide a vibration-free ride. The rear suspension allows for easy preload adjustment to further tailor your ride. The Ninja 650 also feels a great deal slimmer than its predecessors, hich makes getting one or both feet flat on the ground a cinch even for shorter riders. This also helps to mask the bike’s 460-pound curb weight.

What all of this adds up to is a really nice looking motorcycle that offers excellent gas mileage, ood power, nd exceptional handling. It’s the perfect blend of sport and everyday usability.
That sporty looking gas tank feels natural to hang off when you want to enjoy yourself in the canyons, hile the relatively high bars and low pegs mean you’ll stay comfy riding all day. The engine has none of the fueling glitches that afflict too many other motorcycles and there’s enough power to get you out of a jam when you grab a handful of throttle. The engine is smooth and the changes to the rider interfaces finish the job of keeping bothersome vibration away from the rider.

The Dunlop Roadsmart II tires provide terrific grip, oth wet and dry.

Little things like that suspension, he low-slung exhaust, r the front turn signals, hich are integrated into the front fairings, ake you stop and think that this isn’t a budget bike. The LCD instrument screen easily beats anything on a comparable bike. Multiple trip counters, peedometer, lock, verage fuel consumption and miles left until empty are all welcome pieces of information on a bike you could easily use for everyday commuting or long trips. You can even see things other than your elbows in the mirrors.

The Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a fantastic motorcycle. It gets great gas mileage, as a very enjoyable engine, nd looks far nicer than it should for its price tag. It's easy to ride, oth around town and in the canyons.
