This is a heavily, et very tastefully, odified 2007 Suzuki SV650-S. The stock half-fairing was promptly removed at the time of the GSX-R front end swap to turn it into a naked streetfighter. The rear end was also replaced with a Kawasaki Z1000 shock, wingarm, rake assembly, heel and tire. It is much wider than stock at 190/50 ZR17. Looks amazing and handles wonderfully. I receive compliments on this bike regularly, ften starting out with the question "What is it?!" Best guesses are usually Ducati Monster or Triumph Speed Triple.
This was a no-compromise build. After final assembly, he entire bike was custom painted in satin black for a full match, hen black-and-white vinyl racing strips were added front and rear to set off the paint. Highlights aside from the front and rear end swaps include the Scorpion exhaust which sounds incredible, omplete LSL handlebar swap with Spiegler SS brake lines (to make it a proper streetfighter --fast and very comfortable, deal for blasting around the city but also amazing in the twisties), nd Vario footpegs (look better than OEM bits and also allow you to stretch out your legs a little on longer rides).
I really love this bike but just purchased a Triumph sport touring bike for a cross-country trip and unfortunately can't keep both living in a city with such crazy parking restrictions. The garage where I park only allows two bikes in the space and my girlfriend's bike is taking up the other spot.
I just had a complete tune-up done on the bike performed by Pompton Motorsports. While in the shop they replaced the chain, oth sprockets and rear brake pads (the front pads still have plenty of life left). All of these new items have less than 50 miles on them.
My asking price does not include a Motech Alurack and Shad top-case plate, lthough I can add them into the deal along with a Shad SH45 top case for a low price. It's $600 worth of kit, ut adds a great deal of utility to the bike. Perfect for an overnight or weekend trip. The case is large enough to hold two full face helmets. Please contact me if you're interested in this kit and I'm sure we can work out a great deal, ince none of it fits on my Triumph.
