2011 ZX-14. This was a thoroughlytested and proven road warrior. I bought the ZX to take on a x-cross country road trip and it has served the purpose flawlessly. You’ll see there have been changes made to it for such a ride. Hereis the list of items changed for an x-country trip;
- Mileage 9309, ay have a few more miles due an occasional ride
- Double bubble windscreen, his kept the wind off your face and put it over your head. Kept the helmet very steady, ess neck strain for such a trip
- LSL full triple tree handle bars, eaning the top of the clip on tree was changed as well
- Heavy bar ends to soak up any speed vibrations
- Thick foam hand grips, eating element installed underneath, ctually used them a few times in the mountains and riding route 1 in CA
- Sargent solo seat with trunk, ery nice option
- EBC HH sintered front pads for immediate brake feel
- Blackened stainless steel front brake lines installed
- Muzzy exhaust with intermediate pipes installed which allow Corbin saddle bags to be installed
****Corbin saddle bags are not included in the sale of thisZX-14. They are for representation purposes only. They are being offered on another eBay auction. However, f you are interested I can include them with the sale, ut would be an extra cost****There are some scuff marks on the right rear tail sectionand on the left muzzy exhaust pipe from the Corbin saddle bags. These could probably be buffed out to make the bike good as new. I just don’t have the time to mess with scuff marks right now.Work has me traveling again.
- Center stand for secure overnight parking, looped the cablelock from the center stand through front wheel). Also makes for easier chain maintenance
- Michelin road pilot 4 GT’s front and rear. These are the best long distance road tires out there and they handle very well in the wet weather. The rear has approximately 50% tire left and front has 75% tread left.
- Two 12 volt points added one for a regular car adapter to charge phones etc. located just to the right of the tachometer and another battery tender/heated vest port is located on the left side just above the shifter.
Has just been through the local Kawasaki servicing dept. forthe full fluids change after the x-country road trip. Don’t worry there were a couple of oil changes and chain cleanings during the trip as well.If you need, can show you how to set up a balanced suspension for comfortable X-cross country riding, nd a quickly change them back for grinning inducing twisties Tell me your story of adventure and what your plans are for such a machine, aybe I’ll let it go for less then the reserve. I don’t need to sell, ust taking up space inthe stable. Thank you for lookingKeywords: Hayabusa,ZX14, X-14r, X 14, oncours, X-10, P4, X-12, X12r, X 12, inja
