2009 Kawasaki KLR650 Fully Equipped, One of the best in the country!

You are bidding on one of the nicest Kawasaki KLR650’s in the country. I have equipped this bike with the intensions of traveling across the country however I was not planning on going two-up but the Warden has recently changed my plans so I will need a larger riding platform (and knowing her packing history a double trailer). I am subsequently offering my KLR up for auction.

This bike has been maintained at the highest level! It has had Shell Rotella-T 15w-40 oil and filter every two thousand miles (I just changed it at 6000 miles), tored in a heated environment, ever taken off road, ever laid down or abused in any way and ALWAYS kept clean. I enjoy the dual sport bikes as it allows me to move around in the saddle, tand up, it down, lide backward and forward, ut my feet out on the highway pegs to stretch my knees and legs out on occasion (my old knees are shot and will simply not allow me to ride any distance without moving around a bit). I installed the throttle lock to give my right wrist a break on occasion and the Madstad Adventure windshield eliminates helmet buffeting (I ride with my visor up most of the time) and it increases weather protection when caught in the rain. The windshield is fully adjustable as well.

This KLR is ready to go and needs nothing. I have adjusted the handlebars and foot pegs to accommodate my 31 inch inseam and it is comfortable standing up (no slouching) or sitting down. The highway pegs and the awesome Seat Concepts saddle allow me to ride for hours in comfort. If you are familiar with KLR’s you will not believe how quiet this runs with the Eagle Mike Doohickie and the coolant temperature stays constant thanks to the Wattman’s thermobob.

If you have been looking for the right KLR you will not find one any better than this I guarantee it. In fact I offer this; if you come here as the high bidder, ook the bike over, ake it for a ride and are not 100% satisfied that I have described this bike correctly, f you find any issues and want to back out of the sale you may leave with my blessings. I am that sure of this motorcycle.

Now for the fine print.- No test rides to anyone unless you are the high bidder or a representative of the high bidder. Payment must be made in the form of cash on pickup, ire transfer, r check in which case the check MUST clear my bank before the bike is released into your possession. Sorry about that folks but you know as well as I do that there are less than honest people out there (I retired from law enforcement after 35 years). The auction will not end early, he KLR will sell to the high bidder at the close of the auction…period. There is no “Buy-It-Now” option so plan your bidding strategy, rrange your financing, et permission from your “Warden”, o whatever is necessary to make certain your financing is in place and bid away. If you are having the bike shipped I will do everything in my power to assist the shipper short of transporting the bike to another pick-up point, t will ship from my shop or at roadside at my address….period. If you wish to fly into the Elmira New York Airport I will transport you and your gear to my house so that you can ride it home, nd the first tank of gas is on me. That about covers the fine print….yea I know it is painful but it is also necessary.
