Relisting my 78 KZ650C due to failing to meet the reserve price. Cmon people $1,525 was the top bid on the last auction for this, eally that is just an insult? I will list this one more time and if it does not sell I will keep it so do not miss out on your last chance to own a perfect example of the Kawasaki KZ650. You will not find a better example of this bike anywhere. I have way more money into this than my reserve price and it would cost a person about $10,000 to replicate it. The paint job on this beauty cost more than the last final bid.
I have owned this bike for over 20 years. It is essentially a brand new motorcycle. In 2012 I completely tore it down and replaced every bearing and seal. Frame was powder coated white, ody work is Guards Red. I painted the emblems black then highlighted the KZ650 and Kawasaki in white. The rims are powder coated white with new tubes and tires, von Roadriders. I installed a Wiseco 720cc big bore high compression piston kit with ported head which included bronze valve guides and a performance valve job by APE. R.C. 4 into 1 performance exhaust, arbs are the stock Mikuni VM24 jetted to perfection. It starts, dles and runs smooth and perfect. I installed a pan from a 1982 GPZ750 and installed the factory oil cooler from the GPZ. It looks factory installed. 1982 Suzuki GS1100 swingarm painted black with high end YSS shocks custom made for the bike. Custom rearsets made by me. It has a Mairs bikini fairing along with a Trail Tech Vapor digital dash, t has a Genuine Guilliari seat, restored the seat pan and had it recovered using the original Gullirai tag. This gets looks everywhere she goes. It has all the mods everyone wants already done and the bike is dialed in, ust turn on the key and hit the start button. I really hate to sell it but I have way to many bikes and this is starting to just sit in my garage. It needs to be ridden not looked at. I have about 3,000 miles on it since the re-build.
