I bought this bike at an estate sale back in the summer.
It is an early 84 model with a mfg date of 9/83.
The bike is in good condition for it's age.
It is complete but has been sitting for quite some time.
It needs to be gone over completely.
I hooked a jumper battery to it and the lights work like they should and it does turn over.
I cleaned most of the chrome up and it does shine pretty well.
The exhaust pipes and mufflers are in very good condition.
The front tire will not hold air and will have to be replaced.
The rear tire seems to be fine with a like new tread.
It has a hydraulic front disk brake and mechanical rear brake.
The front brake is not stuck but will need to be took apart and cleaned and new fluid put in it.
The fork seals leak and will need to be replaced.
I removed the fuel tank and dumped out all of the old gas.
The tank is pretty clean inside with only a couple of small spots of surface rust stains in it. I believe that it can be used the way it is.
The carbs will need to be removed and cleaned and reinstalled.
I am sure that it will need a few other small items just like any other 35 yr plus old motorcycle.
But it can be brought back to life again and give someone a good old bike to ride.
I wanted to do just that but I have very little time and more important priorites to take care of.
The bike is sold as is where is, o warranty of any kind is given.
