1976 Kawasaki KZ900 Z1
Good running KZ900, ransmission is smooth and tight, early new tires, egular rider, abs just expired on 12/31/15. Was riding until late October 2015 when it got too cold here to ride. Gas tank was drained and carbs run dry at that time.
Nearly new Vance & Hines 4 into 1 exhaust, ice seat no tears. Chrome highway pegs.
Comes with inner chrome fender, riginal turn signals and center stand which were removed by the previous owner. All shown in the photos.
This is a numbers correct frame and motor from 1976, t is a clean Idaho title in my name. Titled as a 1977, t was common in some states prior to 1980's to title a motorcycle in the year it was first sold not built, hat is why this bike shows 1977 on the title.
I have been riding it and intended to do a full restoration on it at some point in the future but my current situation dictates that the KZ must go, sadly.
Please note the items I know are wrong with the bike, ll are easy fixes or would be done during a restoration. Sold as is!
One turn signal not working, hipped fin on right side of head, ne chip in paint right rear fender cowl, o original air box, inor surface scratches or chips, inor corrosion, rust etc as normal for a used motorcycle that is 40 years old. Needs a new battery. Light smoke when first started, ay need new valve guides? Smoke clears after a few minutes of warming up. Minor rust in gas tank.

Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist your transporter in any way I am able. Pickup is in Moscow,ID 83843. Residential area that is fully accessible to trucks and trailers of all sizes. I have had 53' trailers here before. I will store free of charge for up to 21 days after the end of the auction. $10.00 per day storage after that.
