1984 KAWASAKI KX250 – DIRT CHEAP START PRICE AND NO RESERVE!! NOTE: THIS 1984 KAWASAKI KX250-C2 IS A PROJECT MOTORCYCLE – IT NEEDS REPAIRS TO BE RIDEABLE – SO I AM SELLING IT AT NO RESERVE! The photos are a large part of my description of the bike. so please study them thoroughly and ask any questions before bidding. I have made no attempt to get this bike running. as I have way too many projects and way too little time. The engine has good compression and good spark – but the transmission is stuck in gear – the shift lever moves freely up and down and returns to the neutral position as it should - but it will not engage the shift drum and change the gears. I believe the problem is the shift detent spring - but I have not taken any part of the engine apart to confirm this. I removed the chain so that I could roll the bike around – the original chain comes with the bike. The bike has DC Plastics reproduction fenders on it; the rest of the bike is very complete and mostly original with all the original parts in very decent condition.
