1971 KAWASAKI 500 H1A, 2638 Original Documented Miles, TIME CAPSULE, MINT

1971 KAWASAKI 500 H1A. this bike is an Original Time Capsule with 2638 Original Documented Miles. it has Not been Restored. you are looking at the real thing. It runs perfect as new. starts on 1st kick hot or cold. The Bike was bought new in California and was a 1 Owner Bike till my partner found it in 9/12 and purchased it for his collection. It had 2200 miles on it. The Bike has had Tires put on it and the carbs have been rebuilt since new other that that it has not been touched. All the cables are original and still perfect as well as the Speedo. Tach and Odometer operate as they should as the Lights. Mint Seat. The Original Owner replaced the stock hand grips with "trick" period correct grips when the bike was new and mounted the key switch between the gauges (have all the original key location hardware) and the mirror was changed out through the years other than that this bike is Original. The paint is all Original as well as the decals with the exception of the left side cover decal that was replaced and it is not perfect. The paint looks excellent for a 43 year old paint job but has a few minor scratches that are hard to see in the photos and the decals have a few flaws in them. also the gas cap has a slight ding in it and the engine side covers have some scuffing and scratches. I could have touched them up but I like to see original side cover paint. My Partner has a restored set of tins if someone wants to purchase them but I think the beauty of this bike is that's its ORIGINAL!!! The Bike had a full service including Carbs and a new Battery last month. The original pipes still have the baffles with the glass on them and it sounds bone stock and correct. The top right pipe has a small scratch that's hard to see and the left pipe has a small buff mark on it on the bottom side but overall the pipes still look great. The Bike comes with its Original Manual not a repro. Has both Original Keys and the Original Brochure from Kawasaki also like new. I am listing this for my Partner who is selling off his Motorcycle Collection because of health reasons. He looked for this Bike for over 3 years before he could find a non restored low miles Time Capsule 71' H1A. I myself had Kawasaki S2 350's. many H1 500's and H2 750's when they were new and through the years and still have my Z1R that I bought New in 78' so I know these bikes pretty good and could not believe how PERFECT this bike runs and rides!!! I recently sold off my Collection because of health reasons or I would have kept this Baby for myself!!! Bike has a Clean Florida Title Stating 2200 Actual Miles in 9/12.
