1976 KTM 400 MC5 AHRMA Post Vintage

1976 KTM MC5 Motocross/Desert Bike. Formerly raced in District 37 Desert events. Been sitting for many years. always garaged. Bike is almost complete. however the motoplat rotor and stator were taken out of the bike. That would tell me that the ignition is faulty. The rotor and stator are included and can be checked. There is a second gas tank included which I think is probably the original. It has numberous repairs on the right side and shows signs that it was leaking when last used. The desert tank on the bike appears to be in good shape and could be used. or you could repair the other. Throttle is missing. A set of Marzocchi shocks are included which look like the originals. however the bushing bore is bigger than the mounting bolts. They came with the bike. so I don't know if some bushing sleeves are missing or? Anyway. they are included if the buyer wants them. The shocks on the bike are early Works Performance shocks and I am told that they will still rebuild them if needed. They show no signs of leakage. so maybe they can still be used. Rims are straight. forks are not bent and I could find no cracks on the frame tubes. Bike is sold as is. where is. Buyer to arrange pick up and bike is sold with a BILL OF SALE. A title from DMV is not included.
