2002 KTM 450 EXC Street Legal

This is a very unique motorcycle. Originally built by a sales rep to display aftermarket items that he sold. I can't imagine what it cost to build the bike. I am the second owner. The first owner used it for Hare Scrambles the first three years of it's life. I used it mainly on dual sport rides in Colorado and Maine twice a year and haven't used it in the last three years. I'm getting too old to ride competition bikes and am moving to an ADV bike. The bike has always been adult owned and well maintained. Steering head. swing arm. and wheel bearings have no play. The battery is new. The oil is new. Tires are good. The frame is powder coated. It is ready for a rider and looks very good for a bike of this age and runs extremely well. However. it is a used motorcycle and as such. there is no guarantee that it will not break down. I believe the bike could be parted out for more than I am asking for it should it break down in the future. The bike is currently registered and titled in CT but does not meet all state requirements because it does not have turn signals and instrumentation. Mileage is an estimate because eBay requires it and the bike does not have an odometer. If converting to Supermotard or using on the street. I recommend installing a Trail Tech cooling fan kit. The bike is tall and best suited for riders over 5' 10" but the suspension could be lowered and a lower seat installed for shorter riders.
