KTM RC8 1190, Special build, MINT

This is the rare 2008 model. In 2009 enough came in to be sold on a real basis. but only in orange. The bikes were primarily white in the rest of the world. and secondarily orange. KTM USA decided to bring in only orange. In white. the bike really pops and stands out. Orange. not so much. Orange looks good on KTM dirt bikes. White was not offered for several more years in the USA. in fact. It has the Power Commander on the bike. with a custom map from England tuned to the QD Exhaust ---another big investment. The bike runs flawlessly. was dyno-ed by a premier (MotoGP) tuner in Salinas. CA. It truly runs perfectly. A custom painter painted it in the regulation white---which is actually a muted white pearl (beautiful. see pics). to the tune of $4K. All the Akropovic flat carbon bits for it. The entire tail piece. front and rear fenders. clutch guard all Akropovic carbon Akropovic. later. did a one off bike with KTM. the Akropovic RC8R with similar bits. Expensive. The original tail section is included in this sale. It has orange anodized KTM billet covers installed for clutch. and both brake reservoirs. Then. CRG levers; Next. orange silicone coolant hoses. all of them. installed; Next. front and rear axle sliders. Along with tail piece. installed and R&G tail tidy. and KTM genuine accessory bag. Lastly. R&G rearsets. from England. From Australia. the trick carbon tank pad for the RC8. The accessory bag is trick--it is made for the RC8 by KTM and plugs into the two holes you see in the tailpiece. which are controlled by the seat latch. I replaced the seat with a carbon fiber pattern-imprinted leather beauty from Corbin. Perfect fit and nicely parallel orange stitching. The bike has 1997 miles on it. The bike has been under its cover in air conditioning/heat. I love it but I have finally decided. due to an accident with a deer on my Concours 14 in October that has left me with lingering injuries. that this bike needs to be ridden and enjoyed. The RC8 is truly a great bike. and this one is absolutely stunning. Battery is new. a Lithium from properly fitted Anti-Gravity (light and small but cranks awesome). tires are new. one and a half year old with 300 miles on them. So. all told. I have more than 13 grand in goodies in the bike. Do your research. I know base bike book price is 10 to 11. My price then. with all of this work and bits. all of which is very desirable and top quality. is a bargain. The bike is essentially new. There are no issues and has brand new Shell Synthetic Superbike oil and filter. The KTM RC8 cover. original seat. and Tail Trunk are included with sale. nbsp; Pit Bull Stands are not. Side stand was just ceramic coated (black) and installed on this spring. nbsp;not pictured but it turned out excellent. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
