Im Selling my 2001 KTM 380 EXC big bore 2 stroke. This is a great bike......but is also ALOT of bike and not recommended for new comers to the motorcycle world (that just my opinion.....and disclaimer! lol)
The bike has a ton of power, uns flawlessly and idles perfectly. I left it idling for 7 or 8 min the other day and it didnt even hickup! I just did the top end, leaned the power valve up, nd replaced all of the seals gaskets and O rings, ew rings and piston less than 10 hrs ago. New silicone radiator hoses, ew chain, ires are near new front and rear. It cold starts on 2 or 3 kicks, nd hot starts on the first kick every time. It seems to be jetted just about perfect.....mildly rich, ut thats about where you want it.
Ive got the Rekluse Auto clutch set a little loose so the launch is smoother, ases the hit quite a bit. The power valve spring is the green spring, nd this thing still has a insane amount of pull....I have the factory clutch assembly still and will include it. I bought the bike as a project, he plastics could be replaced or painted. All of the plastics are there, ut have been poorly painted. This would be a perfect supermoto conversion bike!
I broke my foot (heel bone) so kick starting this bike is gonna be pretty much impossible for me for about a year and a half, lus its already way too much bike for me to begin with, o I will be searching for a smaller bike with electric start....... Its not perfect, ut is very nice.
