1978 Moto Guzzi 850 T3 Project bike “real barn find”

This is a NO reserve auction for my 1978 Moto Guzzi 850 T3. I found this bike at an estate sale in Albuquerque. NM and it had been stored for many many years. It truly was a real “barn find” Unfortunately. after I got it running it developed a hard knock in the bottom end. so I am selling as a project bike only. Really neat older bike that I began the restoration on. I rebuilt the carburetors. put points and plugs in it. set the valves and put a new battery in it. All fluids were changed. brakes serviced and new air cleaners. The bike ran well for about 20 miles and then developed the bottom end knock. This southwestern bike has what I believe to be original paint. The paint is as shown with some nicks and scratches. The original seat was missing. and it has an ill-fitting Harley seat on it now. Speedometer. tach. and lights work well. the headlight was broken so I put in an aftermarket LED light. Starter works well and battery is fresh. Tires are serviceable. but have a lot of age and should be watched or checked for safety. This is a really cool bike. had a lot of power when running. and gets lots of attention and comments. It would be a great restoration project. I do not have a title for it as the previous owner was deceased and the heirs’ could not locate it. So it is being sold as a parts bike or for restoration. the buyer will have to have it re-titled in their name at the buyers’ expense.
