The 2004 Ducati Monster Capirex 620 is a limited edition Ducati made in honor of MotoGP racer Loris Capirossi. Only 300 of these were made and only 65 made it to the USA. Compared to the stock Monster's, he Capirex boasts an aluminum double sided swingarm, ncreased ground clearance, 4R paint scheme (red w/ white stripe), apirossi 65 number plate, arbon fiber front fender, arbon fiber panels, arbon fiber silencer head guards, ull carbon fiber Remus exhaust, nd height adjustable rear axle. The 04' Monster also includes a 6-speed gearbox and awesome Ducati wet clutch.
I'm the second owner of the bike since 1,400 miles. Never put down and professionally maintained at GP Motorcycles. Never raced or stunted, ostly used as a commuter bike with occasional weekend rides. The bike is in great condition. Perfect bike for beginners and advanced riders alike. Very light (400 lbs) and nimble with plenty of power (60hp) and torque (40 ft.lbs) from the 90 degree v-twin. This bike does it all; twisties, ommuting, ood fuel economy, reat for touring. The Remus exhaust sounds amazing with the legendary Ducati v-twin sound. Odometer currently has ~36,500 miles, ost of which are highway miles from commuting. Oil changed every 3000 miles with synthetic. Getting rid of it because I've got two new bikes this year and need to free up some room in the garage. I'll be sad to see her go but hope it finds a good home. Asking $3,600.
The details:
- Lowering kit (I lowered it basically back to stock height, he link is adjustable and I have the stock link to bring it back up if desired)
- DDM Tuning HID Hi/Lo light kit (35W, 000K)
- Barracuda carbon fiber mirrors
- K&N air filter and open airbox mod
- Dunlop Q3 tires, nly 2000 miles on rear
- Custom seat and cover
- Tail tiddy (fender elimination)
- LED taillight with integrated signals (very bright and clean looking)
- Always garaged, aint is in excellent condition
- 55-65 mpg
- Motor runs strong and still has thousands of miles until the next scheduled maintenance
- Clean title in hand
- Hardcover Haynes manual included
The only issue is the plastic cover over the tach is cracked, 've never figured out how this happened. I put it in the garage one night and it was fine and the next morning I noticed it was cracked.
