2006 Legends Eagle, custom motorcycle

Let's try this again. bike not sold on first auction. This bike was originally a raffle bike. As luck would have it. an older gentleman won it. He rode it once and parked it. His granddaughter and her boyfriend put the remainder of the miles on it. It is a nine year old motorcycle with 254 actual miles on it. It should be obvious that the bike sat for awhile. It was always stored in a closed garage in the dry climate of Scottsdale Arizona. The next owner needs to go through the bike and make sure everything is tight and working properly. The tread on the tires is new. the tires are 9 years old. It is a Legends Eagle custom bike. number 43 out of 300. It has an S&S motor. I've been told it could be a 107. 113 or 116. That is what S&S was building in '06. It is a hardtail (no rear shocks). The front tire is a 21". The rear is an 18" 250. The battery is new. I've been told by the local chopper shop that the transmission is a 5 speed. The bike is sold "AS IS" with no warranty. (If you don't know what "as is" means. you shouldn't be buying used). The buyer is responsible for all shipping or transportation charges. I reserve the right to sell the bike locally before the auction. The starting bid is the reserve. I live in Scottsdale. AZ. This bike WILL be sold this weekend!!!! (That's what I said last weekend)I do not ride the motorcycle. I bought it to sell. I put a new battery in it. $125. a new taillight/license plate holder on it. $125 ( the LED light needs to be hooked up) and it has new oil. The clutch cable or linkage needs to be adjusted. I'm not overly impressed with the way Legends wired the bike. all the electrical with the exception of the new taillight and the turn signals work. The pipes have some discoloration. If you're looking for a flawless show bike for $4500. put down the kool-aid and get in the real world. It is a real nice bike for the money. I checked the net and a new EVO S&S motor is $4500 and a new 5 speed tranny is about $2000. A slighty used motor and transmission have to be worth at least $4500. I have paperwork back to the original registration from Legends to the raffle winner. The bike is titled and registered to me. If you have any questions. ask them before the auction ends. not after.
