1965 CZ250 Twin Pipe Steel Tank This bike was meticulously restored by the previous owner. We hate to sell this early example of a dominating mx bike. but it is time to prepare for retirement and simplify our holdings. I am sure you will get as much enjoyment from this beautiful machine as we have. The restoration was as complete as we have ever seen. Among the many NOS parts on this build were the twin pipes that are next to impossible to source. All cables. rims. spokes. engine components. controls. levers. and frame hardware were replaced with NOS parts. Much thanks to Bertus. Northwest Maico/CZ. and CR High Performance for all their assistance and help sourcing the NOS parts. NOS Barum tires front and rear complete a bike that looks better than it did when it came out of the factory crate. The original spare parts box is included with this sale. a rare item indeed. Many of the parts pulled off the bike for the restoration are in the spare parts box. The original factory spare parts were used in the restoration. These used spare parts demand a considerable price by themselves. yet will be included in the sale. Since restoration. the bike has been kept indoors and climate controlled. It it has been on display in our corporate office since we have had it. and it is quite the conversation starter. There are a few minor scratches from moving the bike to shows and photo shoots - we are painfully aware of each one. This is a rare bike. and the restoration was done to the highest level. We can assist with shipping. We can deliver to a forwarder or shipping company with arrangements being made outside of this auction. Winning bidder will be expected to pay a 20% deposit within 72 hours of close of auction. Final payment due at the earliest of just prior to shipment or five days after the close of the auction – whichever comes first. Payment can be via wire transfer or certified check.
