1972 IZH Planeta 350cc 4-speed

Rare Russian motorcycle made by the same company that produces the Kalashnikov AK-47 rifle. Russian copy of the pre-WWII German DKW-350. Bike is a 350cc. 2-stroke single. with 4-speed transmission. Bike only has 28 kilometers. and as you can tell from the pictures. it is in AS NEW condition. Remarkable condition for a bike 43 years old. Only problem is. it has been stored on display in a showroom for many years and was not properly drained of fluids. Tank will need to be removed and cleaned before gas can be added and fired up. Also the seat has some discoloration. It's in perfect shape. nbsp;just discolored. I'm not sure how many are stateside. but it can not be many. You will not show up at a meet. bike night. or show and see another one there - that's for sure! Talked with the gentleman who owned it. and he said it ran awesome before putting it on display in his showroom. I just have too many projects right now and instead of just sitting around longer. would like someone else to get it an enjoy this rare Russian. 43 year old. new bike.
