Rickman Montesa VA 125

Rickman special with a Montesa VA125 motor. I decided to use this frame rather than spend a fortune looking for an original Montesa VA125 frame. I used lots of NOS parts for this build. and the only thing needed for the swap was to relocate a couple motor mounts. It has the Zundapp pipe modified to fit the Montesa cylinder. The fenders and seat base are NOS. but the rear was red. and the blue paint did not match well. I have more photos coming soon. I also installed new levers. Michelin tires. NOS spokes. NOS rear sprocket. new main bearings and seals. the kicker and kick shaft were new when I went through the motor. It has the enduro ignition. and the OEM ignition will go with it. Nice Betor forks. Curnutt rear shocks are like new. New cables. The frame has been painted because I was quoted $1500 for nickel plating. It shifts fine. will sit and idle. handles like a Rickman should. This is a great bike for a beginner or collector. or just a pit bike. Please check the photos and ask questions.
