You are looking at a 2001 Renegade 45' Quad Cab Toter home, t was one of two built on a new Freightliner FL112 class 8 Truck Chassis, t only has 151,130 actual miles. I have owned it for four years and bought it in South Carolina, had Carolina cat service it up before I hit the road. The motor is a C-12 Cat rated at 430 hp and 1550 ft lbs of torque. The transmission is a heavy duty Allison automatic, had the transmission serviced a year ago and the heat exchanger was replaced. I just had the annual PM performed by a local service center. It has been lubed, ew air filter, uel filters, elo LE CJ4 oil. The onan/Cummins diesel generator was serviced as well. I had the overhead run buy a certified cat technician and Carolina Cat checked the antifreeze PH, erviced the rear differentials and replaced the rear brakes and Brake drums. The drive tires were replaced two years ago and have 3500 miles on them, he steering tires are new load rated Michelins and have 25 miles on them, hey were installed two month ago. This truck is ready to hit the road, t needs nothing service wise. I keep the tanks full to prevent moisture from entering the system, ith the crew cab configuration its extra long and holds 260 gallons of diesel fuel. I can leave ft. Worth Texas and drive anywhere in the USA and not stop for fuel. I always refuel when I am close to home. It has a 200 gallon water capacity which is 100 gallons more than most of the larger Rv's. If you camp in a remote area for several days you will have plenty of water and fuel to run the generator. In most Rvs the components are thin and light to save weight and not over load the chassis. This twin screw class 8 chassis will hold all the weight you want and more. I have systematically remodeled the interior with nice upgrades. It has solid oak cabinets; I put real granite counter tops in the kitchen, ath and rear bedroom. The bath room has a smooth rock floor. The rest of the coach is oak wood floor front to back and carpet in the dining area and under the power wall recliner theater chairs. I have not seen a more comfortable leather recliner in and RV before. I wanted to make it nice so my wife would travel with me. It has a dual a/c 50 amp power system with a power inverter. The refrigerator works as it should, he hot water heater works well also. It has a three burner gas stove and a gas oven, lus an overhead microwave. I have seen most new RVs don't have a gas oven and some don't have a cook top. The rear bed room has solid oak paneling on the walls and a newly added flat screen TV with a swivel mount. The over head bunk will hold two big adults, ecause of the quad cab the overhead bunk area is extra large. It has a fold out jack knife sofa that has been recovered in leather. The drivers and passenger compartment has not been remodeled, t has four Air ride captains' chairs covered in dark blue leather. The carpet is blue and the dash is wood grain and grey. The dash A/C blows cold, he cruise control works and the three stage exhaust brake is great especially in the mountains. The ride quality down the highway is excellent, t will pull a 30,000lb trailer so you really have no limits. It has 4 leveling jacks that have good pumps and wiring, owever the master control box is not working and that particular model has been discontinued. I was going to install a panel with four toggle switches and run power to operate each switch independently. I have never done it because most of the places we go have level camp sites. The fuel mileage we got pulling a stacker trailer with two jeeps and two bikes round trip to Colorado was 8.2 mpg.
We made a trip to Big bend and back with a very strong head wind, ruising 70mph got 7.9mpg. It has a lot of storage compartments and inside storage as well. The inside stereo works, t's a sony unit, othing fancy. It has an in motion satellite on top, have never used it. The main TV is the sony unit that came from the factory. We always get complements when we are on the road, ost people think we are with a race team. It's a great RV, ery nice inside, ower to spare, ull what ever you want.
