1965 Matchless 500 cc G80CS R Police special. One of Twenty built to special order for the Rhodesian High Commission for their Police Force. This bike was one of the last bikes produced by AJS/ Matchless in England. It is a complete ground up restoration by International Classic Motorcycles, xperts in this type of restoration work. It has matching numbers and is 99% original parts. The order called for an easy starting bike, ersatile for road and outback riding. Based on the G80CS frame and Matchless 500cc engine it provided a easily handling motorcycle. After years of service it was sold in South Africa,then purchased by a person who moved to Canada bringing the bike with him.
