Description

1967 Italjet Conquistador

I say 1967 because I have absolutely no idea what year this thing is... I did a little Google research and came up with very little, o this model is a pretty darn rare bike... (If anybody has any info please message me)

What's cool about it is that it has matching frame and motor numbers Frame number *20606*, otor number *20606*...

This thing is pretty darn complete for being an old yard find (found in a yard not in a barn)... It is missing the upholstery, ire pump, nd it appears that the right foot peg was replaced by what looks like a Britt bike kick lever rubber... The taillight does not look correct because I don't believe Italjet would've put a Yamaha tail light on their bikes... Another cool thing is the dual sided twin shoe front brake, a bitchen dual Fuel tank and Dellorto carburetor mounted on its side (seen that done on several Italian bikes and it's pretty cool when theydo that)
Besides missing the upholstery, ire pump, nd taillight, his buggers going to need a piston 'cuz its stuck (which I don't think is a problem because this is the same Minarelli P3 motor used in tons of Italian bikes through the 60s and 70s and even Indian made Rieju's through the 80's) Pistons are available.. She's going to need a chain, ome tires and tubes because the tires are the original Pirelli's and badbadbad (although the rear holds air the front blew out when I put air in it... I lost a perfectly good pair of underwear when that happened)

Did I mention this thing has 194 original miles on it? I suspect the original owner drove the first tank of gas out of it, hen refilled it and forgot to put two-stroke oil in it... not sure how far it made it without oil in the gas, ut I would be safe to say it made it all the way to 194 and then stuck.... you may notice in the picture of the serial numbers a steering stem lock... well my friend that's it, ust like the other Ialjet I just sold out of my collection, hese buggers don't have any ignition switches and I certainly don't have a key for that steering lock... likewise I don't have a title for this thing so it is sold as is where it is in Vista California... the license plate looks like the last registered year was 1973 it's a safe bet this little hot rod is long outta the system...

So no extra parts, hat you see in the pix is what you get and you gotta come get it, won't ship it, ou gotta make all the arrangements (bike is at a business location in Vista California zip 92081)... after the auction you can store it here at my shop for a reasonable time until you can arrange your shipper, and by reasonable I mean 2 to 6 weeks not six months)...I will help your carrier load it from my shop... I have helped buyers of my other bike by taking them to the Forward Air terminal in San Diego ($40 gas and you must supply 2 locks and 4 straps)I have also taken bikes to several Long Beach freight forwarders for international shippers ($200 gas and the LA pain in the ass factor)
