1945 SIMPLEX SERVI-CYCLE MODEL #H290 This is a fully restored vintage 1945 model H Simplex Servi-Cycle with serial #290. Less than one total hours on the single cylinder. two cycle. 2HP engine which was rebuilt in July 2014. (We can furnish the engine builders name upon request. ) New bearings. gaskets. flywheel. remanufactured crankshaft. cylinder . 010 oversize. new piston and rings. condenser. points. plugs. wires. coil and rebuilt carburetor. The tires are new OEM reproduction with new tubes and inner wheel strips. New Parts installed are as follows: Stainless steel wheel spokes Pulley and Fork Bearings Light Switch Fuel and Air Filter Tailpipe. The orginial had exposed stitching and is available through other sources. The current seat is the original with leather and cushion replaced. The only "bugger on the bike is a ding on top of the gold cover. We don't think the bike came with a title from the manufactor. A "Bill of Sale" will be issued. The Bike is "Sold as IS. Where Is" with no warranty expressed or implied. You may hear the engine run prior to full payment and pick up. An imediate $500 deposit is required with the remainder due within 72 hours. We would rather the bike be picked up so that you can here it run and be completely happy with your purchase prior to the bike being taken. If you wish to have the bike shipped at your expense. we can do that. but a crate will have to be built at the buyer's expense and freight prepaid prior to shipment. We will need the buyer's address and know if the bike is going to a business with a forklift. Rates will vary depending on location and weight with the crate. The bike is located just south of Winston-Salem NC and not at our location. It can be viewed and inspected by appointment only.
