This is a nice 1971 OSSA Pioneer 250 vintage trials motorcycle with 1368 miles on the odometer. It has a 2-stroke 250cc engine that runs well and pulls strong. The bike has a current street title in Tennessee and I also have the title issued to the previous owner in 1973. I am the third owner. The wiring has been reworked recently and it runs on magneto alone or with a sealed lead acid security battery. The paint is a home effort and you either love it or hate it as it changes from orange to green depending on the viewing angle. It has a Steve McQueen "Wanted Dead or Alive" theme. The tank is a standard fiberglass OSSA tank. so you CANNOT use any gasoline containing ethanol or you will melt the tank. I replaced the tank for just that reason when I bought it and that is also the reason for the paint work. There are age cracks in some of the fiberglass panels and the tires are quite old and cracking. but for her vintage she is very nice. I hate to sell it. but must. This is an antique motorcycle to be cherished by an appreciative owner. This motorcycle has no warranty. is sold as-is. nbsp;and I encourage all potential buyers to stop by to see it in person. hear it run. and give it a test ride prior to bidding. Includes pictured book and tool kit. Thanks for looking!
