What is a Cavalcade? Probably one of the best BIG touring motorcycles ever made. Do some research on Cavalcades and you'll discover those who own Cavalcades have nothing but praise for these BIG machines. As a former road racer. I'm very impressed with the immense power of this machine and how well it handles for its mass. This BIG Suzuki was designed with all of the amenities. adjustable air ride suspension. adjustable air inflating passenger's seat. cassette player. (remember those). AM/FM radio. automatic speed sensitive volume. rider to passenger communication set. cruise control. storage compartments. vanity lamp and mirror. locking water proof saddle bags and tour trunk. trunk carrier rack etc. Designed for longevity. The engine requires no valve adjustments and no ignition adjustments. The final drive utilizes a shaft not a chain. gone is the oily mess associated with chain drive. The engine has four simple CV type carburetors. (these have been synchronized to perfection). and offers crisp smooth throttle response not attainable with fly by wire and FI. Set the cruise control and regardless of the load. this BIG Suzuki will motor flat roads. up and down hills all while staying within 5MPH of the setting. Offering excellent wind protection. riding in the cold weather and rain is no problem. This BIG Suzuki has new tires. new battery and all of the fluids and filters have been recently changed. The fork seals were changed. the carbs synchronized. spark plugs and drive train seals were replaced. The cautionary modification was implemented to the plug sealing the secondary drive case. The Suzuki Cavalcade is a BIG luxury touring motorcycle designed to run effortlessly. mile after mile after mile. My commute to work is only seven miles and I find the Cavalcade is just too much motorcycle to move in and out of the garage to travel this distance. I find myself riding my DR350 Suzuki more and more and the Cavalcade less and less. This Cavalcade has no issues and is ready to rock and roll now!
