Thank you for looking at my Water Buffalo. As this is my first time selling a bike on eBay,I may be schooled as I go along in this process with the ins-and-outs so please bear with me.
I have regretfully decided to sell my 750, nd others in my collection to follow, ue to health issues and realization that I cannot ride and keep up all the bikes like I want to anymore. So Here she is for your approval
I have had the Water Buffalo since 1999, nd I am the second owner. I have tried my best to keep it in good condition and improve on it mechanically when necessary, rare) and visually whenever I could. I think it has held up well.
The only thing on it that comes to mind as not original to the bike is the GT380 handlebars I have installed on it. I did not like the wider, ower reach of the bars that came stock, o I swapped them. I still have the original bars and they will come with the bike.
The pictures tell the story of the condition, ostly. Overall I would rate the bike a solid "8". Maybe I am being too harsh, r not harsh enough, ut that is my personal scale. The chrome is not perfect, as light pitting - not disagreeable. Just what you would expect on a well maintained/cared for 1972 Suzuki chrome. If you are familiar with Suzuki chrome from that period, ou know they didn't break the bank at the chrome plater. The exhaust headers, hile showing usual corrosion isn't nearly as horrible as the average Suzuki triple from the period.
There are two cuts from the seat pan edge on the seat cover as outlined on the pic. Again, nother Suzuki flaw. Reproduction covers are available if the buyer chooses to replace this and take the bike to the next level. As is, t is not noticeable unless you are intent on finding it.
There is a shallow ding in the tank on the right side edge, nd a scrape in the white decal on the same side as shown in the pic. Paint on the gas tank could us a professional buffing, o sun fading however. I believe as I sit here there is a small crack in the speedo housing on the left.
Unless I have forgotten something, he rest is what I would call expected age and wear. I would replace the tires if you are going to do much riding. They are hard and weather checked.
I have a service manual, arts manual and the original owner's manual that will go with the bike.
The bike is solid, trong and runs out as expected. All lights work, orn and signals. Check my condition description for full details. She is a really good bike and I hate to see her go.
Remember first and foremost, his is a 43 year old classic motorcycle and it will ride and behave as one. Although it will leave me in true satisfactory condition, t is an antique vehicle and failures should be expected. If you are looking at this and expecting it to perform like a modern machine, ast your search in another direction. This isn't the bike for you. This bike is for someone who knows what it is and will appreciate it for all that it stands for - good and bad.
