This is an 82 GS750 TZ 5Speed. Stock parts, o customization.
I spent 2 summers restoring this bike to its original configuration. It could use paint, ires and potentially brakes..
This is the work I have done so far:
Clean and Rebuild carburetors, ll new gaskets, ain jets (Original size). Synced the carbs.
Valve adjustment and valve cover gasket replacement
New Rubber connectors from Carbs to Engine
Sanded and painted the seat pan, nd recovered with new original style seat cover. (Have a 2nd seat as well)
New Headlamp
New Airbox, ilter and new rubber connectors to Carburetors.
New voltage regulator and Stator coil
New Battery; fully charged
Original gas tank with working Fuel sensor (have a second Red tank as well)
New petcock valve
2 Black Side covers are either New or in good condition, o broken tabs (Need painted to match)
Replaced Rear Lamp and Lens
New muffler gaskets and exhaust is stock with NO holes/leaks.
New Speedometer cable
Fresh Oil and Filter.
No leaky brake cylinders. No leaky forks.
All parts are included, he only thing missing on the bike is the factory toolkit.
MILEAGE is estimated, he speedometer is not original to the bike.
I have a clean/clear ohio title.
Additional information: Updated 01/12/2016
The bike has an unknown electrical short somewhere, o currently it is not running. I haven't taken the time to trace the fault yet. I suspect it is the starter/kill switch, here is no kickstart on this bike.
If the electrical short is found and fixed, his bike will start on the first try and ride down the road. When bike last ran May 2015, t was running fine
I got this bike in the summer of 2012 and it was just a frame, ires, orks, xhaust and a motor... I painstakingly restored it to working order and found all original parts to return it to its stock condition. It is not a show quality bike, t needs paint, t needs tires, t needs brake pads... but it is a complete stock vintage Suzuki GS that will run and drive with some minor maintenance. These GS's are increasingly rare bikes, specially the 750TZ which was a unique configuration and only produced for 2 years, 2-83
I love this bike, nd have spent many hours working on it. I learned a lot about these GS's in the process. I am parting with it because I don't have as much time as I would like to continue to tinker with it, r even ride it as much as I'd like.
