2001 Suzaki GSX-R 1000 New Never Ridden

RESERVE DRASTICALLY REDUCEDAGAIN - BUY THIS BIKE!!. This auction is for a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K1. The bike is the Black and Gray color combination. This bike is new and has never been ridden. it has 0. 2 of a mile on the odometer. I have the mileage documentation from the dealer and it is still on the Manufacture's State of Origin (MSO) and was part of my personal collection. This bike has been stored indoors; due to storage. the fuel pump and pump plug wire are not operational and will need to be serviced. the front wheel edge has some light corrosion from a water spot. and there are some small nicks on the front edge of the front fender. Other than those three small items this bike is in as new condition. This bike is being sold As-Is with no actual or implied warranty of any kind. The corrosion on the wheel is really the biggest cosmetic issue with the bike. the wheel edge has corrosion that extends up about two inches and as shown in the pictures and it extends around the rim 6 - 10 inches. The scratches on the front fender could likely be removed with wet sanding if you were skilled. The tank has been removed in a effort to determine the issues with the fuel system. and the buyer will be able to make the repairs as they see fit (there are different ways to approach it - cleaning & replace. aftermarket. OEM. etc. new buyer can decide). Additionally. any bidder must remember that this bike has been in in storage for 14 years. although new in terms of mileage. time is still the enemy - and the reserve price reflects that. it will also need a battery. If you have skills to tinker with a sport bike then this is a great bike to buy. This bike was previously listed by me through a broker in December and it didn't sell.
