I was recently diagnosed with cancer and just had radiation treatment and have lost all interest in finishing this project. I want to spend time riding a bike not working on a project. Bike does run. Here is what's been done so far. front brake caliper 100% rebuilt at mc shop. master cylinder rebuilt. new front tire. front rim trued by mc mechanic. fairing to bike electrical wiring redone. new top quality seat cover. K&M air cleaner pods. gas tank professionally boiled out and creamed. new petcock. carbs cleaned and re-jetted (runs rough needs adjusting) . The chain & rear sprocket look good. Has a Vetter fairing and Shoei luggage. The battery is several years old and weak. Tach does not work (think it's cable) and the windshield needs buffing. 13. 50 miles. I repainted it blue metal-flake and it turned out excellent. I let is sit in garage too long. near the door yet. With everyone going in and out the paint suffered a few chips and scuffs. Nothing that can't be touched up and still look just fine. Not by me though. I did drive it 12 miles and verified the carbs do need jet & syncro attention. A little work to go and it's going to make someone a real nice bike. especially if you like retro. Add up the money and work put into this bike then you will understand why the $1600 is a fair and "firm" price.
