Selling an 05. Suzuki Hayabusa! It is being sold as is. no warranty. but I will do my best to describe it accurately. I obviously rode it often. and everywhere! I had it set up to tour with. and had luggage racks on it. which is why it needs new turn signals. mine were attached to the racks. (Easy enough to do. it's only 6 wires total) Towards the end of last year. it did overheat on me during the 2. 00. 00 biker rally in DC. I had electrical problems for a little bit after that. before finding out the regulator/rectifier was over charging. This ended up with me replacing the battery. regulator/rectifier. a few misc relays/fuses. and both headlight bulbs. This year. I was planning on replacing sensors. flush/fill radiator to prevent it from happening again. (overheating. is a fairly common Hayabusa issue for Gen 1's) I have taken care of this bike. and it's always taken care of me. Odds are. if you are active in central Ohio. you've seen. or heard it around! In the pics. some may notice that the Right side is missing the bar end. I have it. I just need to pick up replacement bolt tomorrow. Worst case. is I have a pair of carbon fiber bar ends in my garage. I would put on. (bar end installed) The Good! It's a Busa. so it gets instant respect whenever you go anywhere. Custom exhaust. that isn't too loud at idle. or normal cruising speeds. but whack the throttle. and it sure does Roar!Mechanically. very reliable. (I was planning on going to Alaska on it this year. I really don't need 3 bikes in my garage. and have to sell two of them for financial reasons)The paint job is very unique. no matter where you go. people talk to you about it. (it's matte black. truck bed liner. so it has a unique texture to it)When I had a pc3 (NOT included) on it. riding cautiously. I would often get 50mpg! (aggressive. it drops to high 30's. to low 40's) While touring. I would get 46-48 (actual. gps mpg)Like I said before. I had it set up for touring. It has a +1 front sprocket. (accelerate slower. but higher top speed. lower cruising rpms. and better mpg. it also made the speedometer much closer in accuracy then stock)Clean Ohio title! (at my house) bought from Cycle Search 5-6yrs ago. When purchased. we can run into town and get it notarized. or possibly just meet at bank and get it notarized thereRoadlok on the rear rotor. (remind me to give you the key!)The BadIt has about 64. 00 miles. with me putting the last 50k of them on. Mechanically. as far as I know. it is a very reliable bike. That said. it is the start of a new riding season. and for me. if I was keeping it. that would mean. tires. all fluids changed. check (possibly replace) air filter. brakes. (I also do the spark plugs every spring. simply because when doing the air filter. it only takes a few more minutes to change the spark plugs. so might as well) The very unique paint is an acquired taste. though many people. including me. really like it. some people don't and would want to switch fairings. Some good Fairings (with fairing bolt kits) can be found for around $500The rear fairing does have some cracks. which doesn't matter if you are planning on doing a fairing kitIt is missing some misc fairing bolts. (and has been for thousands of miles) again. doesn't matter if you are doing a fairing kitOverheated last year. so the fan is on a toggle switch. until I did spring's flush/fill antifreeze. (i rode probably 3k miles since then. and it's been fine)Front tire has a Slow leak. which normally I would have fixed. but it's about time for new tires. so wasn't worried about it. Payment$500 Non-refundable deposit via Paypal. Rest of payment due within 7 days. (unless prior arrangements have been made/agreed upon) Balance will be paid by Cash! bank-bank wire transfer. nbsp;ShippingNo shipping available. My health is very bad right now. and I simply can't deal with shipping. or delivering it. It is Possible that by auction's end. I will feel better. but that is completely unpredictable. Plan on coming to pick it up. and ride or trailer it home. If that isn't an option for you. send me a message Before you buy it. and I will see if I can get a friend to help out.
