Description

This 1970 Triumph TR6 Tiger 650 is in excellent "rider" condition. The odometer shows 6900 miles, he title states 19,749, rue miles are unknown. I bought this bike in 2005 from Don Hutchinson and have put about 2500 miles on it since. The bike runs great and needs nothing, ecent work includes new tires, ew sealed battery, nd new fork boots. Upgrades include a Boyer ignition and Timken headset bearings along with "home-market" handle bars. Included with the sale; several repair books (Haynes Repair Manual and factory repair and parts manuals) specialty tools and every part I have replaced or repaired. Please look at the pictures, verything you see on the tables will be included.

This is a NUMBERS MATCHING UNMOLESTED bike. Come and take a look at it, ou won't be disappointed.

The pre oil-in-frame bikes are getting tough to find at reasonable prices.

Motor:

Runs great, tarts 1st or 2nd kick after “tickling the carb”.

No Smoke at all.

Slight oil weep from front push rod tube seal.

New Amal Carb in 2008, ole in float, just bought a whole new one. Old carb is included in the sale.

New silencers, ld ones also included (need re-chroming).

MAP CYCLE oil filter was added immediately after I purchased the bike.

The Rest:

Paint is nice not perfect but I tried to show any flaws in the pictures.

Frame is solid and uncut or chopped.

Forks were rebuilt after I purchased her due to leaky seals; all bushings and stanchions were replaced.

The tank as far as I can tell has never been repaired and is original paint as is the front fender, ’m sure the rear fender has been replaced (the paint is close to matching, ot perfect). Please look at the pictures.

The handlebars are “home market” but the original USA spec’d bars are included and in fine shape.

The sale will include all the accessories shown on the table:

Carburetor manual, ylmer manual copies of factor repair and parts manual, im the CD Man’s disks, ughie Hancox video & a dvd copy. 2 triumph books, aynes manual, keys, ork stanchion tool, nd fork cup pin wrench, spare gaskets for clutch cover, set of rocker box gaskets, set of Whitworth wrenches, park plugs 2 spare headlight bulbs, riginal side reflectors (undamaged), DC tool, lutch adjusting tool, rimary chain tensioning tool and several tail and running light bulbs.

This is a great bike that I just don’t have time for.

I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this bike anywhere.

All that being said it is a 45 year-old bike and no warranty is implied or inferred.
