Simply known as “Buzz,” Jim Christopherson is America’s premier Triumph historian, OS part supplier, nd primarily as one of the world’s best restorer. Buzz and his son make-up the two man crew for B&D Cycle Triumph Restorations; who perform some of the most well executed restorations worldwide. Using as many “new-old-stock” (NOS) parts as possible, he motorcycles are meticulously inspected and authenticated to meet the original factory specifications. The intensive restoration process usually will take about two months to complete or around 145 working hours on each motorcycle; Buzz stated that “there’s about 1,800 pieces on a restoration project. I take everything apart and restore it.”

Manufacturing their first motorcycle in 1903, riumph soon became a household name when movie stars like Marlon Brando and James Dean used these motorcycles in several Hollywood films. The 1960’s proved to be the company’s most successful decade both in innovation and in performance. Between the years of 1966 and 1970 Triumph was building some of the fastest motorcycles and proved it by winning numerous motorcycle championships across the world.

Meticulously restored to concourse standards and fully operational, his Bonneville RS is a true pleasure for all of the senses. The engine kicks-over with a strong kick runs extremely well.
