1968 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE T120MATCHING NUMBERS. EXCELLENT BIKE TO RESTORE I bought this bike from the estate of the previous owner. According to his caretaker who has known this bike since new. I am the fourth owner. He also said the engine was rebuilt about 5. 00 miles before it was parked 15 years ago. The engine turns freely and has good compression. The transmission shifts through the gears nicely. No attempt has been made to start the bike. I am only selling this bike to make room for the recent purchase of a rarer and more original Triumph. There are no dents in the tank or side covers. The frame and forks are straight and undamaged. They have been custom pinstriped. There is lots of chrome on the bike and it has deteriorated quite a bit. At some time. the battery was eliminated and a Mity Mite was installed. This bike was parked strictly from lack of use and is fully assembled-it would not take much to get it running. It is an excellent candidate for a restoration. Sold on a bill of sale. **PLEASE NOTE- The photo of the gauges has the reflection of a flowering tree on the glass-the gauges DO NOT have yellow spots in them. There is a reasonable reserve on this auction. This motorcycle is not advertised elsewhere. and this auction is the exclusive opportunity to purchase it. Bid accordingly. As you know. the vintage motorcycle market is on fire right now. and bikes like this are skyrocketing in value. They're still too cheap and NOW is the time to buy. Thanks and good luck!
