Description

Am selling my beloved "Comrade". This bike is a rear wheel drive. 750 cc with 4 forward speeds and 1 reverse. I special ordered the bike in 2011 from Ural of New England with delivery in late 2011. MY fiance' has MS and can't ride double hence my need of a sidecar or trike. As I was living in Germany at the time I ordered it. I flew back and picked it up in Nov 2011 (MY 2012) and trailered it to KY where it went straight into storage with about 35 miles on it. I flew back twice to start it up. etc while on vacation. It was finally licensed in late 2012 and then moved to TN in 2013 when I moved. Basically all the miles were put on in 2013-2015. It runs perfectly with no leaks. etc. I do all service on it per my Ural manual and extra repair book. It came pretty loaded (see order form photo and RO list photo which lists dealer added items I ordered). These include: - Dual bike & sidecar windscreens- Black powder coated drive train- Black powder coated wheels (all three)- PIA driving lights on the sidecar (switch is in the sidecar reachable from the bike)- Sidecar bumper- Custom Maroon Paint- Custom final drive- First aid box with hammer & piston emblem- Black headlight visor- Black rear luggage rack w/wooden slats were deleted due to being backordered but the rack was later installed separately. - Bike turn signals on both right and left (usually they come with no bike turn signals on the right side. only on the right of the sidecar)I later added the above referenced rack PLUS - "Ural" fuel tank emblems (L is on. R is there but not installed due to rear shift lever)- L/R sidecar nose art- Upgraded vinyl sidecar cover (both it and the Cordura covers are included)- Aux driving lights (chrome) with black mount. Switch is mounted on the lower bar. - New extra factory seat spring (now two) and new 1" seat heightener/risor from Ural of New England (both new but not installed)- Harley seat installed in 2014 with home made mount. Adds about 2-2. 5 inches of height but rubs on the rear rack. - Repair Manual new in 2014- New Battery in 2013- New rear tire 2015 (has about 700 miles on it). Others are very good. Old tire is included as a spare. - Rear spare tire mount (only). Needs rear sidecar rack removed and a hub/wheel to have a complete spare. Hub and wheel are not included and so far I haven't needed it (knock on wood). - Extra tire tube- New rear brake switch this week. This is a known issue with the brake switches. The old one worked but only intermittently beginning after storage this past winter. The new one was ordered and installed and works great. - Bike pipe baffles have been drilled and the stainless steel pipe ends have 8 drilled ports each . It sounds better and has more power. - Ammo boxes added as saddlebags with red stars and reflectors added. These come off with one wing nut each. - Various odds and ends. (Note- I haven't drilled any holes in the bike except the pipes/baffles. everything has been mounted with that in mind. I couldn't stand the idea of drilling in the body)The bike is a 2012. It was originally scheduled to be a late MY 2011 build but was slipped to new MY 2012 build and as I paid in full I received a 2012 model for the same price as a 2011. There's no real difference in the two models years but I think I saved about $500 or so. It has a complete repair/service tool kit. The hub nut tool was damaged (weak weld) but repaired and works. Everything else is fine. Reason for selling? I love this bike but as I now live in TN and my fiance' lives 4 hours away and part of that is interstate it's just not a great bike for interstate travel. It'll run 65 mph BUT is most comfortable at 55 and I've had too many semis on my tail too often. I no longer have a death wish as I've matured so. I should state that if you don't like wrenching. only ride Harley baggers. love anonymity. and/or normally ride a pocket rocket then this isn't the bike for you. It's just a slower ride. You should never go anywhere without allowing an extra 20 minutes or so. It's called "Ural Delay Factor"(UDF) and it's based on EVERYONE wanting to ask about the bike. take photos. etc. I've had folks take photos at gas pumps. riding down the road. etc. People will ask about it just about every place I stop. Trust me. you'll think you're Kim Kardasian's keister riding this thing. The mileage may change as I ride the bike. Lastly. I can help load but shipping is on your dime. Keep in mind it weighs about 950 lbs and is about 6' 6" wide. Plan accordingly. pls. All funds must clear BEFORE the bike ships. etc. I have the title and it's ready to go. __________________________3/20/2015: NOTE: I forgot to add the the bike has an aux GPS mount and power plug on the bar. In addition. a "Buy It Now" buyer will receive the Tom Tom GPS and the weatherproof holder that mounts to the bar mount (only for "Buy It Now" buyers though)
