They were produced by Dan Wilson of California around 1991-93. Made of well designed elements that give the Sportster a Vincent motorcycle appearance. Notice the Vincent shaped seat. and how well it snugs up to the rear of the alloy fuel tank at an angle. See the photo of its plywood bottom with name. (According to Dan. these seats were sourced through the Vincent Owners Club)Look at the rear parcel rack that incorporates a Lucas style tail lamp. with license plate bracket. reminding us of vintage motorcycles of years ago. Two into one exhaust system with 'peashooter' type muffler. Stainless steel fenders with tube-stock stays/supports. This unit has a genuine Lucas 7 inch headlamp. Halogen H4 Lamp. Ceriani style polished alloy headlight ears. The other kits did not possess this item. The list of new things (some used) is a long list that includes paint. powder-coating. bearings & races. tail lamp. Race Tech fork springs. clutch. S&S carburetor. and so much more. The kit is missing the Akront aluminum wheels that were kit parts. but two new high shoulder aluminum rims are included. 18" rear. 19" front. Rear wheel is old. but straight and it needs a new rear tire. Rear hub is black and shines nicely. Well sorted. very good running. riding and looking machine that has been proved-up with 570 miles since project completion. Clear Texas Title ready for transfer. All receipts included. Bike shows 8. 70 miles believed to be original. but not verifiable. Extra items included are boxes of extras. some original parts. and some special items specific to Classified units only. as below:~A complete assembly manual from Dan Wilson. 20 pages~~Extra fuel tank decals. some from Dan and some reproduced in the UK by a Kit owner~ ~Points cover with Logo~~A copy of 'Motorcycle Collector Magazine'. Local shop made attempts to seal. with some results. but still leaks (see photo #16 with rag to keep things cleaner). You may want to look at a YouTube video of a cold start and walk-around by keying in Classified Motorcycle in the search option. The rear shocks in that video have since been replaced.
